You may be feeling disconnected from your partner, caught in recurring conflict, struggling with intimacy, or questioning who you are in this season of life. Whether you're navigating relationship challenges, a major transition, or the emotional and physical shifts that often accompany hormonal and midlife transitions, therapy can help you find greater clarity, connection, and confidence.
I work with individuals and couples seeking healthier relationships—with themselves, their partners, and the people who matter most. I have a particular passion for supporting midlife women navigating identity shifts, changing relationships, the physical, emotional, and relational transitions of midlife, and exploring who they are becoming and what comes next. Many of the women I work with are navigating the profound shifts that can accompany midlife—changes in identity, relationships, purpose, sexuality, health, and the way they experience themselves in the world.
My approach is systemic, relational, and trauma-informed. I believe our struggles are shaped not only by our individual experiences, but also by our family systems, relationships, culture, and life circumstances. Together, we'll explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop new ways of relating that support greater authenticity, resilience, and connection.
With couples, I draw from the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy, which emphasizes differentiation—the ability to maintain a strong sense of self while remaining emotionally connected to others. This work helps partners move beyond reactive cycles, communicate more effectively, deepen intimacy, and create relationships that feel both secure and alive. I also support couples in exploring emotional and sexual connection as important aspects of relational health.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate supervised by Bridget Jowid, LMFT-S, and Dr. Nicole Van Ness, LMFT-S. I hold a master's degree in counseling from Southern Methodist University and a bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from The Ohio State University.
Before entering the counseling profession, I spent more than twenty years in corporate and nonprofit leadership, including a significant chapter of my career at AT&T. Having navigated my own professional and personal transitions, I bring an understanding of the complex realities many adults face as they balance work, relationships, family responsibilities, and evolving identities.
My professional training includes graduation from The Developmental Model of Couples Therapy Training under Ellyn Bader, Ph.D., at The Couples Institute. I am currently participating in the Advanced Training Program and have also completed The Embody Lab's IFS-Informed Somatic Trauma Therapy training. I am a certified Safe Conversations® Leader, a Prepare & Enrich® facilitator, a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200), and have pursued additional training in Mindful Self-Compassion.
My style is warm, collaborative, and direct. I strive to create a space where clients feel both supported and challenged as they move toward healthier relationships, greater self-understanding, and a life that feels more aligned with who they are and who they are becoming.
I would be honored to walk alongside you in that process.
